Why would anyone hide your keys in the cheese drawer?
Mine were nowhere to be found. I had to take my title to GMC dealer to get a new key made.

I was missing one of the cordless house phones for days, called it, paged it, but it was no where to be found. Yup, found it in the freezer. Go figure.

I put my MH keys in the refrigerator on a regular basis. Every time I pull in a service station for fuel, I turn off the refrigerator and water heater (if on) and put my MH keys in the refrigerator. That way I never have to remember to turn it back on. The cold keys are a good reminder.

Years ago my soon to be wife called from work and said she could not find her keys. She called her mom to look for them at her house! How did you get to work then I thought. Anyway.... A few hours later she called and lo and behold she could the keys. They were in the very jacket she had been wearing all night long.

I also have found a half full milk jug in the cabinet. Senior moments are coming faster and faster.

I've refrigerated our cordless phones a few times. Garage door opener once. Wife was looking for something a while back. It was in the fridge.
Someplace has by Leatherman tool, a couple rings, garage remote, and a couple pocket knives. Not in the fridge, I don't think though.
Got to admit it is handy coming in from the garage. Maybe ought to put a compartment in it for things on purpose. :)

When I lose something I always find it in the last place I look.

Looking in the last place to look is always a good start but lost things always turn up when you are looking for something else.

Keys are all over. We each have a set & at least one set spare are in the trailer.

You DO keep a spare set keys hidden on the motorhome - but outside the motorhome's interior - don't you?? I've learned long ago over many vehicles to always do that.

Regarding the refrigerator not getting turned back on after shutting off power to gas up - I velcro'd a voltmeter right on the cab dash that shows how much voltage is on the coach's 12 volt system. If it shows zero when we're back on the road after gassing up - then oops -> I forget to turn the coach's 12 volt system master switch back on.

The voltmeter in the cab also indicates whether he engine alternator's output is getting to the coach batteries as it should. I've had the interconnect solenoid for this fail once in the past such that the batteries were not getting charged back up while driving between camp sites ... the dash voltmeter prevents this surprise from happening. (The dash meter shows around 12.7 volts on-down if just the coach batteries our powering the RV system, but it shows around 13.5 volts on-up if the engine alternator's output is properly getting to the coach's 12 volt system - and hence to coach batteries for charging - when traveling.)

I keep a set of MH keys in the toad and a set of toad keys in the MH. So far, I haven't lost the keys to both - yet.

I was driving through the Valley of the Gods in SE UT. This is dirt road with OUTSTANDING scenery and very little traffic -- a good place to boondock. I saw this lady with two pre-teen children pulled into a boondock place. She looked like she was having some problems so I stopped to see if I could help. She could not find the keys to her TT. She said that she must have left them at the campground where she spent last night, 200 miles away. We talked about having her smallest child enter the storage area under the bed and try to enter the TT that way. I check to see if my TT storage key would fit. It would not. We were about ready to "destroy" the lock on the storage area to gain access to the TT when I walked by the front door and pulled on the handle. The door was unlocked. and the keys were laying on the counter by the door.

I keep a "hide-out" key to my Truck, TT, and Stick home and other important locks. It has came in handy more than one time.
