My friend Wally lives in Payson. He stayed with us here in Pa for 2 weeks and is on his way home now. We were there in 2018 and stayed at Houston Mesa Campground which is run by the Forest Service. On our was to Payson on 260, we stayed at Canyon Point which is another FS campground. That one has some electric hookups and we snagged one. Payson is a nice town and has a little bit of everything. We liked eating at the historic Kohl's Ranch.
