I went through the same thing when I sold our 54 Chevy pick-up (HotRod). Had three guys interested. A doctor wanted it for his son (waaay too much truck for an 18 year old kid). A guy in Oregon wanted it. Then there was the retired Special Federal Agent that showed up at 9pm to see the truck. He drove 1-1/2 hours. He brought a mechanic. Looked it over. Drove it. Bought it. Next day, the doctor cussed me out for not waiting. LOL. The guy from Oregon understood. We didn't worry about getting paid with a check. Now many people are going to want to carry around that much cash.......
