My lawn looks terrible!

When I was working and my wife commented on how much better some of the neighbor's yards looked so much better than ours, I told her those were retired guys who had time to keep their lawns up. Now that I am retired and she mentions the good looking lawns, I say those are retired guys who don't own an RV

  • Hitch up your trailer and take her to an RV park like this.

Your other option is buying some weed and grass killer and spread it on your neighbors lawns at 2AM effectively making your lawn look better. (I’m kidding people)
  • reminds me of when my Uncle lived in Edina, MN, just down the street from George Mikan. that front yard had lots of rocks, basketball stuff, etc. filling up most of it.
    bumpy
  • I have threatened for years to asphalt my yard and paint it green, so my neighbors will think I have grass.

x2. I'm working on eliminating grass. No grass is the best lawn.
I have better things to do than worry about how the grass looks.
  • I actually prefer my rock landscaping, watered as needed with Roundup.
  • I would rather have a fruitful garden and orchard than a pretty green thick lawn that I need to clip twice a week. By the way dandelion greens are good with bacon and the flowers make a unique wine.
  • Sulfate of Ammonia but not too much or you'll burn it. Be prepared to possibly mow twice a week.....but it will be green.
  • Some folks spend there time and money in different ways.
You might want to mention to her, that you like to spend your time with her and the RV....instead of being compulsive about the lawn.

Just make sure that you mention DW before you mention the RV:B, or you may find yourself and your clothes out on that grass that isn't as nice as the neighbors:B
