My method for organizing all those pre-trip details

I always start a handwritten list about 2-3 weeks before we leave of things to do and things to bring. I think of things at all hours of the day and night to add to the list. Your post brought to my attention that I should type up a permanent list to use as a starting point each trip, as some of these things never change. Duh!!
