Really? Clearance signs show the lowest one, which is actually in the center since all roads are crowned, as a rule of thumb most bridges have a greater clearance at the shoulder. With some what of a margin for error they are usually marked at a bit lower clearance than they are, but as for the OP rest assured that a 13'6" semi probably would not make it as well if he had not went under slow he would have hit. Better than a 13' bridge with an additional 2" of new asphalt.
