My over 13' rv went under a 13' clearance bridge

Can someone explain how they come up with the clearance signs. The last one I went through showed 13'0" on one of those yellow signs. Im in Ny and have a 38' rv. Now, I know for a fact to the top of ...

Glad youmade it. Not everyone does. There may, or may not, be any extra clearance. Some are crowned as previously mentioned. They may leave a few inchs extra for future paving.
