I owned 2 19 foot Roadtreks ("190's") before the Tiger. Great vehicles, with almost everything most C's have, just less empty volume. It's a full 'Class B RV'. At a nominal 17 feet (probably tapes out at closer to 18'), she can park it almost anywhere other than a parking garage. The Chevy chassis will almost surely be reliable, and fine-driving.
The only two serious grips I had with my '01/'02 C190P was lack of ground clearance and a too-low dump exit. They're cured at least some of the first, and if she got a macerator pump, she'll be free of the second one.
I even parallel parked mine several time, in a normal space. I'd suggest adding a good backup camera, mounted high up and pointing down to barely include the rear bumper. Probably also some good fisheye stick-on mirrors.
I'd also recommend getting her onto the Class B Forum here. Lots of good info & answers to questions can be had there.
Jim, "This beer tastes like I'm not going to work tomorrow."
Came standard with a back up camera and although she doesn't pick the vehicle up until tomorrow she was very happy with that being part of the package. And, yes it has the macerator pump. Not sure about the ground clearance issue.
She has experience van driving because she used to work at a handicapped school that required her to get her Class B license and drive the kids around in a van.
