Is it just me or is all this hype about traffic backups, major traffic jams, sold out hotels/motels, etc. for the eclipse, starting to sound like Y2K all over again?

We live in the path of totality and just out of curiosity I started checking some of the campgrounds for site availability for the 23rd. Mostly no problem if you want a site. Oops, I did mean for the 21st. Fumble fingers.
