What you really need is a spot for 2 nights...8/20 & 8/21. I expect heavy traffic before and after.

I am going to my cousin's house in Portland, TN, right on the center line of totality. It will normally be about a 2 hour drive, and I'm leaving very early...like 5:30 AM. The eclipse is about 1:30 PM.
