I realize that the OP's problem started because he was selling something and gave out his phone number.
But, if he had it all to do over he could have bought a Trac Phone first and then gave out that number in the ad. After his RV was sold he could then just shut the trac phone phone off and let the time on the phone run out.
I have, and love, my landline. The only scam calls I get on it are during election season. But,, I am not selling things on Craigslist.
I have a cell phone too. I don't get any spam calls on it.
I have , and love, my home answering machine too. I get so few scam calls that I have my cell phone number on the outgoing message of my home answering machine.
Never had a problem,,,,,YET. (I know my luck will run out someday.) But, this is one of the advantages of being a Caveman. Nobody knows I exist or bothers me.
