Ha HA, I love all these upset people disagreeing over phone calls.

As for caller ID only a few bucks a month. A few bucks here on this, and a few bucks there on that, and eventually add up to you staying at home rather then going out camping because you can't afford to go camping. It's the little things that add up. The big expenses are easier to manage.
Where does the caller ID show up on the push button Ma Bell Desk Phone setting next to my computer show up? Or, how about the Rotary Dial Phone in my porch ?
(You would be surprised how often my boss calls just as I'm heading out the door)
Party line were back in the day when you could call everywhere you needed to by dialing in 4 numbers. Now, you can't find who you want to call because all they have is a cell phone and those numbers are not listed. I can't seem to get ahold of anybody anymore. Cell phones destroyed being able to communicate with your neighbors. If his dog shows up at you house after being hit by a car there is no possible way to get ahold of your neighbor to let him know.
There should be a law requiring everybody to have their phone number listed. Even if it is a Cell Phone number.
