yes, they do!! picked up a couple at HF today. no more sewer hose problems. thanks to you all.

That's exactly what I use on tight connections. I have two different sizes on board, with the smaller one kept in the kitchen for opening jars as needed.

I think that is a better option. Some sort of strap wrench. Eliminates the grip strength issues that a large pliers type tool would have. Just need to pull.

I had the same problem until I greased all the fittings and mating surfaces with silicone grease. Don't use petroleum grease, it will swell the rubber gasket and make it harder to seal. Using cheap nitrile gloves also helps, giving a better grip.

I think it is TETFORD that makes a hose called the Titan

Check it out.. This hose has a long male end which you can easily grip.

I may try an oil filter wrench too. Just thought of that while typeing this (Do not know if it will work till next week when I try it)

Also switching to a Sani-Con Macerator may help you.

NOTE: I really like that Tetford hose. I am not using that specific one just yet but an older one they discontinued same hose different ends.

Also... For the hose (not for the in-motion cap which is where I need help) I use a 5" extension (Clear) this serves multiple functions

1: It lets me confirm VISUALLY the tank is not draining any more (EMPTY)

2: The extension I use was originaly a back flush type device with a water under pressure via a vacuum breaker inlet. this broke so I sealed the thing and use it as a "Handle" for removal.. Way easier than the straight 5" extension I also have.
