What's a good cleaner for the fake wood cabinets that will give them a shine but not leave a film that might hold dust??

Clean with Windex and once dry, treat with Armorall Original. Products like Murphys or Beeswax Oil are intended for wood, and we're talking vinyl over pressed wood here I'd wager.
