agreed : tongue weight is too low
tacoma crewcab pickup with a 4.0 is a great little pickup
ultimately you will be buying a tundra .
the tacoma does not have enough rear axle payload to support the 13% tongue weight necessary to mitigate sway.
in general the toy hauler rv's are the worst for sway .
because the rv payload goes in the rear of the trailer behind the rv axles they are hard to balance properly when loaded with toys versus empty .
add that to the higher profile than a conventional TT and the toy hauler is more susceptible to sway from wind.
that is why most toy haulers are pulled by a much heavier tow vehicle .
late model diesel pickups have about 400 # more on their steering axle than the gassers due to engine weight .
tundra pickups are possibly the best half ton pickups around. but may not be as adequate for a toy hauler as a heavier 2500 pickup.
for 5-10% more money or close to it you may be able to get a cummins diesel that is better for towing .
