I would back screws out and clean old sealant as best possible, then a layer of butyl all around area where antenna base goes against roof and then a bead of Dicor around base. Can't recall for sure, but I think the regular, not self-leveling, is best for first application and then self-leveling for touchup and resealing.

Your fiver most likely used Dicor to seal it from the factory. Take your wife's hair dryer up there, heat up the old Dicor and gently scrape it off with something plastic, like a plastic putty knife. Once it's off you can install a new coat of Dicor. Remember it will self level, so create a bead around the antenna mount and lap it up over the edges and over the screw holes.

BTW, I'm surprised the "experts" at CW could not advise you!

Dicor self leveling for a quick fix and that's what they use at the factory. Eternabond tape for a longer lasting fix but that's opening up a can of worms to a bit more difficult sealing job. I've used both and personally, I would just buy a tube of Dicor at your CW store.
