Need help with 85 pace arrow house batteries

I live in an 85 pace arrow by fleetwood. Nothing works. I have taken the two marine batteries out as they were all bad looking and nothing worked anywaym from what i was told it should all work with new batteries. I have two 12 volt marine batteries from my solar set up i want to hook up. The thing is, there are so many wires that i have no clue what is what. I hooked up a starter battery to two wires and the windshield wipers started working for a little while but then quit. Have not been able to figure anything out. I would like to get house power working (lights, water pump, etc). The RV doesnt need to drive, it is where it is.

Can anyone help me out or provide an easy to understand diagram on how to get it set up? I can post pics of what the wires look like if it will help.

If you can possibly figure out which wire pairs go together, that would help. Reversed polarity is not usually a big deal, lights should work, fans may run backwards, but the bigger deal is the polarity of the converter wires.

Im looking for a way to post the pictures i just took. I just cant figure out what wires to use. I should just be able to take the right pos and neg and hook up and have lights right?

Or, maybe i can somehow reroute water pump to my solar bank? Then id at least have a water pump

  • Thanks for quickly responding though, now i feel hopeful. Maybe i will be able to get this thing set up. Just need someone who can steer me.
  • They werent attached when i removed them. They had just been sitting there.
  • I don't suppose you took a picture of those wires *before* removing the batteries?
