Need help with STINK BUGS

I read of releasing them into the wild?
They are alien species and destructive. Do not release them.
Our coach is tight but we use home defense at openings in water bay the only possible site for them to come in now, except the dash air intake.
I have been trying to find someone to devise a filter housing etc to take care of that, primarily to stop dust and bugs while on the road.
I see bug traps mentioned on the net for stink bugs. Might take several, but I don't know.
They made it this far a long time ago, but they just disappeared after a season or two. I don't know why. Only occassionally do we see a domestic counterprat.

Undoubtedly. We recently returned from a trip in southern Ohio where there were plenty of the stink bug's around. While cleaning the camper decided to roll out and rinse of the curb side awning which we did not use. At least 300 stinkers had hitched ride with us by crawling in the care free awning cracks. Found them in the pleats of my gen set air filter too! They really dug in! Bug bombed camper and removed about 100 more dead ones that mostly collected at the back door where daylight shined in. These likely sneaked in the door with us. You can't keep them out. Bombing them did not cause them to release stink. We would have brought all them south.

I believe they are spread by snowbirds. Yes those northerners that get infested up north as their campers sit in storage lots in the early fall become safe haven for the little buggers. As they travel south when the weather turns the little critters think it's spring and exit their winter home invading all the southern states along the way.

OP, I'm not sure why you are scared of stink bugs, they don't bite or want to crawl on you.

The good thing, is they don't reproduce when inside a house or RV.

I googled them and the ideal prevention is winterizing the best that you can to keep them from coming inside. They emit an odor (not the stink odor) to attract other stink bugs that they have found a good winter place to hang-out.

I live in east Tenn. and we are covered with them. And the odor they emit stinks. We had to replace a mattress where they had got between the headboard and mattress. I sure wish someone would tell mine they can't reproduce while inside, because they didn't get the memo.

Just up the road from you, 15 minutes. Hardly seeing any stink bugs.

Same here, some years it is Asian beetles, this year it is stink bugs. You cannot keep them out.

We don't have them on the west-end of TN. The house is sealed up pretty good though.
