not to dump on the OP but does anyone remember a daily cartoon strip...Travels With Farley? it ran back in the late 60's and was a play on Steinbeck's Travels With Charley. anyway there was a recurring character...Velma Melmac, a housewife who parks her monster RV in Yosemite National Park each summer, doing her best to keep nature at bay by, for example, vacuuming the nature trails. again, not dumping on the OP...truly I'm not as my wife freaks out at spiders...but this post reminded me of the comic strip. here at home we've been under attack by the stink bugs since may.
