Need pictures, Ready Brake Elite on Honda CR-V

I'm looking for pictures of the front end of a Honda CR-V (mine is '03 model) showing the location where the Ready Brake Elite cable comes out the front. I'll be doing the install myself but am unsure where is the best spot to drill and attach.

Also, would love any insight from those who have done their own install on a Honda CR-V. Where did you route your cable and for the hole in the firewall, did you have to go over 3 inches (and which way) to avoid the double wall?

Thanks!
  • I installed the Ready Brake on my 2009 CRV. I don't know if it will help you or not since there were changes in the body styles between 02 and 09. I ran my cable straight through behind the brake pedal. It was a clear shot below the vacuum assist cylinder, behind the battery and down. I anchored my cable to the black plastic below the bumper. It's a recent install, but so far so good. Mounting the break-away was the hardest part. Only place I could find to mount the unit was on the frame in front of the vacuum assist cylinder. It was a very tight area! I needed a LONG drill bit to pre-drill the mounting holes. I don't have any pictures, but hopefully other will have some....
