Need to jack up the rear REALLY high to attach spring bars

Don't know about other designs, but my bars are tapered - round at the socket end, and flat at the end where they go on the shelf. It's an 800-1200 rated hitch, with an advertised tongue weight a little over 800 lbs. I don't see how changing the bars would affect anything.
