We attended a festival once with boondock parking, where the RV spots are spray painted on the grass in a field. We parked on the end of a row against the main "road", which was just a well worn dirt tire tracks. We came back that evening to find a MH parked six feet from our street side...in the road. I went over and knocked, explaining that I would be putting my out my slide, which would be pretty close to them, and running the generator, which exhausts right by their entry door. I mentioned that on the other end of the row were about 20 empty spaces where they wouldn't be parked in the road. They said they'd talk about it. I left for a late grocery store run and returned to find their MH gone, so I parked my car right up against my RV, between it and the road to keep any other idiots away. About an hour later, a very PO'd woman is pounding on the door screaming about how we blocked her space. No good explaining it's not a space, it's the road. While she's screaming in the dark, the rain starts pouring down. She gets back in her MH to leave, and they go about 15' and stop. Something went wrong on their MH, and it wouldn't go. For four days they were stuck next to us, blocking the main road and also blocking road for RV's in the row behind us. Eventually they were towed out.
Question: When there are two acres of open spots available 500 feet away, if someone parks close enough to suck your genny exhaust is it just Darwin at work??
