I see the mods have been busy scrubbing this thread of anything they might disagree with. Typical...
Criminals are what they are: CRIMINALS. They don't deserve the opportunity to escape freely without being challenged. Now, had any of the criminals been brandishing a firearm, then the game changes. In this case though, I'm all for taking action!!!

I agree people should help - simply stopping was enough to prevent the crime from being completed. I just don't want someone getting hurt or killed trying to chase down the jerks - at that point, I think it is more helpful to get as much identifiable information about the guys than trying to tackle them.
