I bought a lot from Camping World in the past. Then 2 things happened that changed my mind. First was we bought a new trailer From Camping World in Harrisburg,Pa. We were given a quote in writing. We put 10% down. We were told it would be in in 2 months. It turned out to be 4 months. When we went to pick it up, they told us it would be $5,000 more than the quote. I posted in Marcus' thread about our problems and never heard anything. The second thing was when he said he didn't want Trump voters as customers. Haven't bought anything since.
The Harrisburg location is special isnt it? They have a good shell game going and have had it since it changed from Gumbines to CW. Akron OH is also good at trying to sneak one in on you or quoting one thing, writing up another.1968mooney wrote:

Did you cough up the additional $5000? - minnowExplorer

Same ole bashers everytime. I'm sure you feel that badmouthing CW is hurting their sales. Each of you say you will never spend another penny there. I'm sure Marcus is happy that you do not take up space in his stores.
Based on recent news of the CW empire, I think that we are having an effect on the sales (or lack thereof). The good news is that our absence leaves plenty of space in the aisles for you and your shopping cart. - 1968mooneyExplorer

And for sure, they don't care about the posters that do nothing but BASH them. - Bob_VaughnExplorerMy original post was to show that CW not only does not care about their customers they do not care about their employees either...

They do have their use though.
Say you're on the road between here and nowhere, something breaks.
You can get it cheaper online but they have a Camping World a few miles down the road.
What do you do?
It's a hoot listening to some people.
They shop for the cheapest and demand excellent service for free.
I don’t shop there because I don’t like their business plan. They up the price of parts 20% and get you to “join” their club which will cut prices 15% and people come running. We will do anything to save a buck these days, even if you only think you are saving a buck. I find it funny that so many jump into this gimmick. I was not aware that the owner actually said he doesn’t want Trump voters as customers. I would think that would decimate his customer base. Perhaps that was a bit of a stretch someone made. - 1968mooneyExplorerSame ole bashers everytime. I'm sure you feel that badmouthing CW is hurting their sales.
