I use a cheapie Black & Decker and then pour the coffee in a stainless steel carafe. The carafe actually came from a Mr. Coffee that had a separate/removable water container. It worked well....the one at our house is still going....but there was something in the design that resulted in it holding some water somewhere, and after winter storage (no heat), the coffee maker started leaking. So...that led to the Black & Decker which works well and if it breaks....I'll just head over to Wally World or log on to Amazon.
