I want to get one of the old aluminum percolators. Nothing beats the flavor, smell or sound from one. We never cook inside and have a single burner propane cooktop we use outside that runs off the propane quick connect so would be easy for us.
Have been through so many coffee makers at home, cheap and expensive, I've lost count. They just don't last. The best electric one we've had is a one cup-er that we bought at Kohls for $10 and has been in the TT for 4-5 years so far.
