The ball is a 2" ball, as required per manufacturer. I didn't check to make sure the trailer was connected properly, so, yes, the final blame rests on my shoulders, as I was the driver. I was wrong to assume a camping dealership could correctly hitch a trailer to a tow vehicle. I'm concerned about warranty because this isn't a manufacturer' s defect, and the trailer wasn't designed to skid down the road (the trailer has now been abused). I am concerned that due to this, the manufacturer may claim that other defects could be somehow attributable to this abuse. I'm guessing that the camping dealership's repairs would be warranted for 30-90 days, not the 3 years the manufacturer offers.
Any thoughts of structural integrity where the jack attaches to the frame?
How often do trailers separate from the tow vehicle?
Thank you for the responses!
