Actually you don't have to have anything in your "humble abode", all there has to be is
suspicion there is something. And no, they don't pay for your door afterwards, just ask the people who were involved in "No Knock" searches when it was discovered the police had targeted the wrong address. Or the man who is killed when he surprises the police officers in the same circumstances.
