Remember, LEOs are exempt from hands-free laws (at least the ones I know). Why? Can 'mere citizens' not match their mental prowess?
They are also permitted to drive above the speed limit, in the wrong lane, on closed roads and carry firearms in places the average citizen isn’t.
It’s yet one more thing they may need to do in the performance of their duties.
Do you not think that is appropriate or advisable?
What level of multitasking, distracted driving, or mental prowess does driving on a road, etc entail?
You're stretching to absurdity in an attempt to bolster your argument.
It wasn’t *my* argument, I was merely pointing out the obvious and asking a question.
A question about a subject I’m more than qualified to answer.
In aviation there’s the ‘3 biggies’, aviate, navigate, communicate.
In my case it was ‘aviate’ an 8 ton aircraft and ‘navigate’ it to a 1,000’ landing strip of rolling, pitching steel runway out at sea at 140’ish mph while I ‘communicate’.
Don’t talk to me about ‘multitasking’ and whether or not some people are better at than others.
So if you agree with me, why were you arguing about it?
