In Canada there is no particular issue with only having a post office box. The key is to have the "legal land description" where the box 'lives'. My license and vehicle insurance are tied together in Saskatchewan to eliminate "non insured" operation. But there are many folks who full time in other Provinces.
The land description is required by banks and other financial institutions, too.
Do not lie to the insurance folks. They would use that to deny any claim that might be made.
