New Jayco Build Timeline?

My brother just purchased a Jayco 32BHDS from a local dealer on December 15. They gave him an estimated timeline of 16 weeks which would put delivery around April 15.

What have been your recent experiences with the Jayco build time?

  • Remember, it's not only build time but delivery time too. So many campers to deliver and not enough drivers to get them to their destinations.
  • Build time is quite variable, as different model lines will be assembled in batches, and there is a lot of front end time (cabinet, furniture, plastics, frame shops) leading up to each batch. If your special order is something they will be building soon and is a matter of choosing among standard fittings, build can be as little as a few weeks. If it is something they just finished building, it might be a few months before they get back to that model line.

The dealer gets an estimate from the factory based on the factory's production schedule. That is specific to the model being built.
  • My dealer that I bought ours from has ZERO new Eagle 5th wheels in stock, and they are a huge dealer.
I've asked and they are contributing it to the THOR buyout.
