If you leave your porch light on, half the light has to shine in your RV so you get the same illumination as I do.In the past month we've had the blue people, the purple people and now the yellow people. Why don't people think?

Sounds like my neighbor about my security light above my mh in the carport, just another one that too stoopid to close her bathroom curtain???? but alright for her to leave her front door light's on all night.

Yes. I have seen People with RV’s that you know they have had for years and they still don’t know which switch is for inside lights and which one is for the outside work lights! Now that I think about it I haven’t had that problem ina long time. Thanks a lot! :B

Whew .....glad that new rule only applies to porch light.I never turn mine on cause it draws bugs which are just waiting to come in when you open the door.I much prefer to stick an automotive flasher in my trailer cord and make the clearances/side marker lights flash on/off.And with my window shades pulled I don't even notice them

Some dumbass, lighting up my campsite to the point of almost getting a sun tan when we are sitting around the fire, looking at stars, who turned in an hour before and is sawing logs, sure isn't a little thing here.

Its great though that your exemplary morals and outlook do not let such things bother you.

Your camper must be setup different from ours as my campfire is on the backside of the camper next to me and the camper behind us, well is behind us so their lights aren't an issue either.

I avoid RV parks where big rigs are likely to go and use state parks without many amenities to avoid the problems that many of you have mentioned. There are idiots in tents as well but for the most part there are more people that just want to camp and enjoy nature without bringing every electric convenience with them. The good campers in big rigs still out number the bad but it only takes one bad one next door to ruin a trip.

We have had a set of awning lights that when we put up, they were connected to a timer to turn off at 10:00 PM.

Do you mean the 3 watts of LED awning strip lighting that generates 380 lumens per ft, and with a 20 ft awning thats roughly 8000 lumens, equivalent to about 5-100 watt incandescent bulbs? Is that the one?

Oh the ambiance.

And Don't worry if you want to see the stars, just get a Solera awning and they'll come to your campsite when you turn on the strip and Photoshop stars into the sky above.
