Unfortunately this type of crappy service is not uncommon. Imagine if stuff like that happened with our car. Not sure about your options but I would go in an nicely but assertively tell them this has to be resolved by (give a deadline) or either you want a refund or it will be time to consult an attorney. This is especially unacceptable with a new one. They could get a new refrig. shipped within days I would think.
