New rv's

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the new interior color schemes are rather ugly. The designer's must have all studied at the same place as all these home remodelers on TV now days.
Just not my taste.
What does everyone else think?

  • Looks like I'm behind the times, grey has overtaken white with dark colors proceding that.
  • We recently purchased new and the wife ran straight to the grey interior, I don't mind it.
  • Gray seems to be the in color. I rent apts and it’s amazing how popular gray is. I can hardly rent anything that doesn’t have gray plank flooring. If I have one with gray and one with brown natural the gray always goes first.
  • Look around until you find the interior that you prefer. I prefer hickory or oak to painted cabnets. You know what they say about opinions, everyone has one.

I think white painted cabnets are the rage now.
  • I am not sure that the new ones are any less Ugly then the old ones. I think people that flunk out of interior design school go to work for RV companies. A few years ago I checked out a Travel Trailer that looked good on the outside but the interior upholstery was PINK !! I ran away from that one barfing as I went.

Actually the one I have now is Blue, I'm not really happy with that upholstery color either but, you have to accept some things when you purchase used.
  • I don't like the dark espresso and black colors in furniture or cabinets. RVs are small enough without all that darkness. And the black is just ugly.
  • I'm with all of you; I like the traditional wood colors. Not gray, not white. I like that "log cabin in the woods" feel, I guess.
  • I noticed the big thing at the 2020 RV show was cabinets all painted grey inside.
    Hate. It.
  • I think it depends on the brand, We just bought a 2020 Outdoors RV and they have the natural wood cabinets. You are right some of the cabinet colors I don't like.
