New slant on Walmart camping.

1. My real estate agent and I looked at a Cracker house yesterday in Florida.
2. There is only one true blood line left of Cracker Horses. A farm in Ocala has a band of them.
3. And last month Rainbow Springs STATE Park, Florida held their annual Cracker Days.

The park was filled with historical booths in hopes of educating those that choose not to educate themselves. Cracker has to do with the men with whips and their Cracker horses that drove the cattle every year to seasonal pastures along the historical limestone trail.

What IS wrong with you people? Perhaps a trip down history lane and READ about what it means. Or better yet take your RV and drive down to the Rainbow Springs STATE PARK CG and spend the week learning about the history of the USA during Cracker Days.

yeah, like they didn't know that "Cracker" was a derogatory term. Kind of like in my neck of the woods a local football team was the Frisco "coons". When that name hit the fan there were quotes from all sorts of good ole boys saying they never, ever knew that "coon" could be a derogatory term. Probably because the words they were using were a bit stronger. Besides that, it was obvious the first post was a sarcastically humorous retort. But I guess a few people are wound a bit tight and their funny bone broke a long time ago.

Some young partyers in west Ottawa are picking up on a new fad to avoid impaired driving and the high costs of taking taxis.

"Urban camping" involves someone parking an RV or trailer in a parking lot near a bar, then sleeping there after a night of drinking.


What a way to raise kids. Where did their parents go to school?

Yeah, that makes much more sense than say - drinking responsibly in the first place. I guess one could deduce from this that both the police and Walmart endorse drinking to excess... :R

Some people are perfect and have never made a mistake or miscalculated in their life. I would rather see someone sleep it off than trying to drive after drinking too much.

HUH??? :h They take their TT to the parking lot in anticipation of getting drunk and saving 60 bucks in cab fare - no mistaking it...

This is exactly why I don't light fire crackers on the Fourth of July, or put oyster crackers in my Clam Chowder.

I think that they should change the name to "Saltine Barrel"
