I'm towing a 2012 Ford F-150 4x4 with automatic transmission. It's a fantastic toad. Very easy to tow and I've even had it off road three times already during camping trips in very rough un-maintained 4x4 roads only.
The only downside is the weight (about 6,500 pounds) but the 2015s are made of aluminum and some are under 5,000 pounds.
