I still question why anyone would attempt to pass on the right if the turn signal is already on. It's much quicker and easier for them to simply wait instead of having to make 2 lane changes. Not that reasoning has anything to do with some people's driving choices.
Ever notice how, if you're the first car behind a traffic impediment of any kind, EVERYONE will be passing you (and the impediment) thereby trapping you? That's how impatient (and emotional) driving is.
I can't wait for driverless cars. We're just too stupid to do this ourselves.
