I was into our local RV dealers a few days ago and noticed that their lot was almost empty and figured they must be selling them as fast as they can get them. I asked the owner how she was doing and she said not nearly as good as she could be. She said prior to Covid, they could get as many as they wanted from Forest River and her lot was always full. She said now they will only let her have five a month, and they cannot keep up with the demand. I am guessing there isn't much dickering on the price these days !Guy

Been that way around my neck of the woods for a while too. And i notice that the car dealerships seem to be in the same situation- low stock. The worst of it is that i am looking for a new TH. Hopefully everyone can get back to work soon and build that inventory back up!

Definitely not the time to try to get a discount off MSRP.

I feel very fortunate that back in April, I was able to locate the 5th wheel that I wanted and could get it at 30% off MSRP. I had to go 4 hours away from my home to get it but it was worth it. Especially since I've read a lot about inventory being low all over the Country. I was very fortunate indeed!

I think they may be overselling the shortage to drive up prices or are the little dealers being left out in favor of big dealers.We picked up a new 2021 trailer in October in Omaha...their lot was full. Probably 75% new units/25% used units and it was a fairly large dealer. Got more than 1/3 off the MSRP (for what that's worth).Since then we have been thru Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, S. Cal, Arizona & Texas...we haven't stopped but we've seen plenty of RV dealers with full lots along the freeways.

And it is also a sellers market for used campers. they are bring more than top dollar.

We live in Elkhart County rv storage lots are getting fuller and most manufacturers were working 6 days till recently. My guess all dealers are allocated so many units making the dealers selection scarce
