For me, it depends where the hookups (if any) are and how the site is laid out generally. I'd rather have my picnic table and firepit on the door side of my motorhome than have to walk halfway around every time I go in or out. Some state park sites that works out with backing in, some with pulling in, and a few don't work out very well either way around (such as by having the fireplace on one side and the table on the other, or by being arranged such that it's only possible to back in or to pull in).
I guess I don't see any big deal about which side of my neighbor I see when washing dishes and which of the other neighbor I see when sitting at the dinette. Well, I often would rather not see the neighbor especially close up at all, if that's possible.
