unfortunately, you have a truck that setup as a grocery getter and not for towing. the 4.8 is pretty well known as a lousy towing engine for a v-8. changing the rear end gears won't make it into a much better towing truck but it would help.
i wouldn't tow that Jayco unless you did do the rear end change. too much trailer for your truck, as it currently is.
