Is a basic tow dolly like this: CL Ad all I need besides wiring, etc to tow a small, front wheel drive car? I guess what I am asking, is something basic like this sufficient for towing a small ...

What is it you want to tow.
We have had a motor home for many years and have always towed a vehicle four wheels down. (No dolly)
Reason being is the convenience. Easy hook up, easy tow and easy unhook. Also you do not have to store the dolly in the campground.
