newbie question
Is a basic tow dolly like this: CL Ad all I need besides wiring, etc to tow a small, front wheel drive car? I guess what I am asking, is something basic like this sufficient for towing a small ...

There are many FWD vehicles that are 4-down towable...like ours for instance. However, unless you get a 4-Runner that has a manual transfer case that has a neutral position, you can basically forget most all Toyotas. Not many Hondas either are 4-down towable..but a few are, especially the older ones.
Be aware however, that the cost to set up a car for 4-down will cost more than a dolly will. But once you are set up...4-down is so much easier and convenient.
