Is a basic tow dolly like this: CL Ad all I need besides wiring, etc to tow a small, front wheel drive car? I guess what I am asking, is something basic like this sufficient for towing a small ...
The dolly appears to be a Stehl Tow Dolly. I used a similar model for two years to tow my Camry behind my Bounder. The dolly will work fine, but I do recommend one with brakes. Not all dollies have brakes, but electric or surge brakes are a very good idea. Also check for condition of tires, wheel bearings and the presence of safety chains (to secure the car, not to the hitch of the tow vehicle) Do not depend entirely on the hold down straps to secure the car. Good luck.
