That is not IN ANY WAY representative of the Interstate going through town.......or anywhere else on the most direct route either.
There are a couple of tall grades to pull but thousands of trucks and motorhomes do it every day.
As I said before, without good advice and experience, you can get into a LOT worse trouble by trying to avoid that area.
Unless maybe you add 1,000 miles to your trip and avoid the eastern mountain range altogether.
