Gosh I hope it's not a marketing thing. It's 69$ a night with 200 free miles a day. We just thought it was wise to rent first before buying, because I would hate to be stuck with something that was that expensive and it wasn't for us.
And thank you for the mountain/hill information. Like I said, as much as we will miss out, we can't do mountains right now, because I just don't know what kind of chunks are going to be blown with just regular roads from my son. :E
Thank you for the tips to St Louis. We hadn't considered going that way, but I had heard there was also a great kids museum over there unlike any others.
And jungshin, thank you....I wasn't planning on planning anything, just thought we could stop where we saw something interesting. Guess I need to get on those boards for some good step by step routes. I thought it would be fun for the boys to stay at a Yogi bear place one night, and I saw there was one in Indiana an hour away from the pickup stop in Chicago. And thought we could stay one night in Orlando at Disney. Even though we've lived here our whole lives we've never camped at Disney! (That's because we just do day trips to the parks.)
