Gosh I hope it's not a marketing thing. It's 69$ a night with 200 free miles a day. We just thought it was wise to rent first before buying, because I would hate to be stuck with something that was that expensive and it wasn't for us.
I think it is probably time for ALL of us to stop giving well meaning suggestions......because most really aren't going to help you any.
What happens after the free 200 miles per day ?
And who pays for the gas ?
And how are they going to know how many miles you go in a day ??
Or is there a total allowance of 1000 miles for the whole 5 days ??
YES it ABSOLUTELY is a good idea to rent first.....locally for a couple of days or even a week. I think your excellent intentions unfortunately took a bad turn here.
Good luck. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
Vulcan, I'm trying to figure out if you are being crabby with me or not :C Why do you want people to stop giving me suggestions? I think there are some really good ones on here that could help us. We pay for gas, same as any other rental. There is a total allowance of miles, and I"m sure they mark down starting mileage with ending mileage. And I'm still not sure why you are saying that it took a bad turn....I mean, I realize from the other posters that we will be mostly driving instead of hanging out and camping....but I'm HOPING we can enjoy some aspects of each night be camped out! And get an idea on whether or not we want to buy one!
