OP - you can use the fridge in the RV to keep the medication cool. It is designed to run while on the road. I don't have a motor home, but I have traveled many times in one owned by my in-laws. You also will not have to stop to eat if you don't want to. Need a sandwich? Go and make it. Plan a basic menu of lunches and dinners for each day. Stuff that is easy - spaghetti, for example. And if brimstone and fire erupt and someone has to throw up, then there is a toilet - just like home. You can stop at camp grounds for the night, plug in and use the AC. Some people will stop at Walmart parking lots for an overnighter - nothing wrong with that, but there are interesting things to do at state park camp grounds. Don't stress on where - use your phone to find parks near to where you are presently located. Get the Good Sam app as someone mentioned. Or if your inclined, make a travel plan and know where your going to stop. By all means, put it in at least one CG and experience doing that as the ride is not the most important part of the experience.
You have a home on wheels. You have a brand new coach to drive. Just do it!
You seem to be keeping expectations low as your sole purpose for this trip is to explore the idea of owning your own RV. Lots of people on here advise renting first which you are doing, so I'm not sure why some overstate the difficulties/DANGERS! they think you will have. Of course you know that your not going to tow a car. Of course you will have to get used to driving this thing - I suggest you both drive it. Unfortunately, you have found that some people, in the guise of advising can become overbearing. Just ignore.
