Regarding the steep grades, thank you for that info. My oldest baby gets very car sick and we were going to avoid the mountains if we possible could. Sounds like I need to go on your forum for travel route help, because we are totally open and just want to visit some fun places that we would never make a destination for on a plane.
Ginger ale, ginger candy, anything with ginger will help.
Don't let them read or look at tablets
Make sure eldest sits next to a window and can see out and watches the horizon.
Straighten the road out as you drive, ie clip off corners of curves as much as you can. It really helps. Also slowing down helps.
