I ran into a new phenomenon last fall camping in Yosemite. There are young people that are out all day in their cars driving around. They must go out to dinner. They show up at dark only to sleep and leave early in the morning. They are sleepers not campers.
Not new at all. We did that a lot of the time, minus the dinner out. The campground was not our destination but a place to sleep and hang out if we weren't exploring. To us just sitting in a campground all day when there is much to see and do was boring and not why we travel.
