Nissan Juke Front Wheel Drive Manual Transmission

Hi! New to these forum (Sam). Guess my question is obvious, but just to clarify - Can a 2015 Nissan Juke with FWD/MT be towed four wheels flat? Manual transmission is only available in the NISMO version, but my wife and I are considering it anyway. Towing it behind a 2015 Villagio (B+), tow capacity 3500. I'm looking for a vehicle that weighs 3000 lbs. or less. If you can help me with my question or suggest alternatives to the Juke, I'd be most appreciative.
  • Look at the kia or hyundai we bought an elantra. 2800lbs, tow, manual trans in neutral, nothing but turn key to acc and go. No need to stop for mileage and run etc. 150hp direct injection has plenty of power and rear seats fold giving lots of room if needed, front is also roomy. Thus the war dept decided that is what she wanted so thats what we got. There was an article on new cars not to be bought again by owners, I know the small nissan was one not sure about the box you inquire about. The small kia and hyundai I think were included also.
  • Bought a AT Mini Cooper(2600 lbs) to tow with a dolly. Just not worth the risk, although the Juke's owner manual did allow for towing 4-flat with the restrictions mentioned above. The Mini's more fun to drive anyway!
  • The 2015 Dinghy Towing Guide lists the 2015 Nissan Juke, manual tranny only, as towable 4 down, with a max speed limit of 70 mph. Also states every 500 miles to stop and let the engine idle in neutral for 2 minutes.
But, I also recomend you check the owners manual.
An alternate to the Juke would be a Subaru Impreza or Crosstrek, with a manual tranny. I have a Crosstrek, weighs around 3100 lbs, all wheel drive, and towable 4 down with no restrictions what so ever.
Pretty much any Subi with a manual tranny can be towed 4 down.
